As a developer of proprietary, patented signal processing software, the company improved traditional OAE technology, enhancing the performance of OAE devices. In 2004, Natus Medical Incorporated acquired Fischer-Zoth.  Fischer-Zoth is now a division of Natus Europe, GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany.
