From its roots in the early 1980’s in Copenhagen, Denmark, Dantec was established out of the Danish electronics company DISA Electronik A/S, manufacturing urodynamic and neurological products including electromyography systems. In the mid 1990’s, Dantec changed ownership and corporate identity, as it became part of Medtronic, Inc., and then Alpine Biomed. Natus continues the tradition of Dantec as a superior neurological diagnostic brand – the finest amplifiers and first-rate engineering that have made Dantec EMG devices the systems of choice continue in the Keypoint systems today.

The Dantec Keypoint® electromyography (EMG) / evoked potentials (EP) systems are recognized worldwide for their superior amplifiers, stimulators, and outstanding signal quality. Alpine Biomed was established in Orange County, California in 1994 as the industry’s premier esophageal pH catheter manufacturer. Neurodiagnostic Accessories & Supplies
The Alpine brand of neurodiagnostic accessories includes an extensive variety of needle and surface electrodes, cables, and adapters for use with the Keypoint or any EMG machine. Alpine’s high quality concentric, monopolar, and hypodermic needle electrodes are available in a choice of materials, adding flexibility to the physicians’ practice. Also available outside the US are electrodes and caps for EEG, and EP applications.
